"Murasaki my dear-" Ennio stops pacing around his room and immediately turns to pay attention to her with a brand new notebook in hand. "I cannot believe I've never asked you this, do forgive me... but I need to ask you: what kind of character would YOU like to play? And you cannot say 'whatever is needed' because I am READY to build a story around your character. It can be absolutely anything, the starry sky is not even a limit!" While they may be able to remember anything, turns out keeping a notebook of ideas helps with visualizing and organizing things better than their scatterbrained mind ever could. They fold up their legs and sit themself on the air, listening attentively. "The floor is yours!"
"Yes, my dearest?~" Murasaki immediately looks up from her book upon hearing Ennio's voice, a warm smile already taking over her face.
Her smile turns into a pensive frown at the director's inquiry though. Just as Reca predicted, her first instinct is to reassure him that it's fine, she'll play any role that's given to her, she's a very versatile actress - yet her mouth remains close.
Instead, she thinks about it, really thinks about the kind of role she's always wanted to play. Has she ever had one in the first place? Back in the day, she'd played whatever role was needed for Ennio's latest movie, no questions asked. It had been freeing, in a way - being told how to act a part, not because the one doing so expected her to become the part, just do her best and have fun.
A typical 'goody two-shoes' would have been the expected answer - her big eyes, sweet smile and soft voice would be perfect for such a role. Or that of an ordinary girl thrust into the role of the 'heroin' by circumstances.
"Honestly... I had fun when you had me play the 'role' of the femme fatale to help you get into someone's memories." Murasaki admits, her purple eyes growing bright as she recalls that moment "It's not a role I play as often, and it's such a subversion of how I usually act... it's thrilling."
She floats herself up to be face-to-face with Ennio, grabbing his face, eyes growing brighter as she speaks "But not a classic femme fatale, one that plays with people for fun and nothing else... one that does so for a purpose, for a reason. Like an anti-heroine. That would be a fun challenge~"
