Yes! Let me talk about Nala's Family a bit more here.

So Nala was made in the eastern side slums of Abel city. She has a mixed family consisting of both humans and Reploids.

This is Dr. Gerald Roku (Age: Adult), Nala's Adoptive Father (She refers to him as her Mentor, Pops, and Old Man). He is a retired Lifesaver. He was part of the "Recover and Restore" team after the Eurasia incident. He was injured durring a mission and retired afterwards (It was better than being decommissioned). He usually uses a cane to walk around and runs a small clinic in the slums. The building he bought to be his clinic turned out to be an abandoned orphanage, and it turns out the kids were still in it. Gerald then took them under his wing. And they are his kids now. With his help and resources, he was able to help them.
