do you have an example on the questions in the application because i’m confused on how to answer them.

is the Dear , section the bio?

not exactly! there’s no real bio part of our app; the “Dear ___,” part is meant to be a letter or diary entry of some sort that might give us a glimpse into the character’s history or personality. you can write it as multiple journal entries to give a broader look at the character’s history if you’d like, or it can be just one pivotal scene from their past. the only hard requirement for that section is that it must be written in first person point of view.

there’s another question in the inbox about the application about the questions and how to answer them. i’ll write up a sample application after classes and work tonight to answer your question! i don’t quite have the time to address it right now or give you the best possible answer.

how many extensions are there?

just one per reserve, but you’re always welcome to reserve a second time after it expires. i can’t say no to that!

i’ll agree that it’s not very surprising that these are some of the early reserves we received, but again i always thought of it as a courtesy and a thank you to those with early interest to hold reserves until opening. but like i said, i’m still going to talk to my mods about this before deciding on anything!

if you’d like, i’ve been compiling a list of “backup fcs” for when a popular fc is taken for my own reference and i’d be happy to share suggestions with you if you’d like to message me off anon. i can share my rp twitter account with you as well for some of the other resources and ideas i’ve posted on there for my/my mutuals’ reference.

i think you'd be able to receive reserves and apps way more easier if you'd hold a reserve for a few days, like most rps do. because if people want to apply with a certain face and they can't, it's normal for them to look for a place where they would be able to do that.

this is understandable, but most rps i’ve been in held reserves until the grand opening; i always thought of it as an early thank you to those who want to join right off the bat.

on the other hand, i can see how reserves expiring would motivate people to get their apps in.

our reserve list is short enough right now that i didn’t think we’d run into too many issues with fcs being taken for lots of people, but i’m willing to reconsider this policy. i’m going to talk with my mods and get their opinions before making a final decision!

i don't think it's fair to hold the reserved faces until the opening date. maybe there are people out there wanting to apply with a face and they can't.

i don’t disagree with you when you word it like that, but at this point it’d feel unfair to suddenly change the reserves to a deadline. also, being such a new and not a fast-growing rp, i’m afraid we’d hardly get any lasting reserves at all if they expired quickly before opening.

if there’s a muse you want but the fc is currently reserved, i’d recommend applying with a different fc and then changing it to the desired one after opening as the other reserve expires.

if you have any suggestions about a more fair system for the pre-opening reserves, please talk to me! i’d love to hear it!

hey! do you base the opening date on how many reserves you get? or applications? or just whenever you feel is the right time? :>

we’re basing it off of how many applications we get! as we have none right now, i have no idea when we’ll be able to open. ideally i’d like to open aftere 10 apps!
