Passing by Binondo Church is a regular thing but for some reason, today was the only time I actually decided to step inside. And wow… the interior design is just breathtaking. Nakaka-amaze yung detail ng ceiling and that historical vibe of Our Lady of Prompt Succor. Definitely worth the detour.
But real talk… I had my first main character struggle moment inside. I brought my DSLR and apparently, that’s a big no-no without a permit. Sabi ni kuya staff (na hindi ko sure kung janitor o security) bawal daw professional camera. So okay, phone photography it is! Buti na lang high-tech na tayo, ang ganda pa rin ng shots.
After roaming around Chinatown, I stumbled upon another stunning church near Escolta, malapit sa isang university. First time ko lang yata nadaanan ‘to or maybe hindi ko lang napansin before pero ang ganda rin talaga ng vibe niya. Manila really has these hidden spots na bigla ka na lang mapapa-stop.
Paglabas ko, sinalubong ako ng Watsons. I swear, may sumpa ang store na ‘to… it’s physically impossible pumasok doon at lumabas nang walang bitbit. Budol is real!
From there, I headed straight to MOA to kill time. I spent the whole afternoon just roaming around, looking for food. Ended up at Chowking for dinner. Honestly, kahit saan ako mapunta, chicken pa rin talaga ang endgame. Consistency is key, 'di ba? 😂
The highlight of my MOA trip? I found this stall selling the cutest miniature keychains for ₱60. Syempre, dahil Buy 9, Get 1 Free (10 pcs for the price of 9) kinuha ko na yung opportunity. Logic over emotions, guys!
But wait, look at what I got miniature Condom and Lubricating Jelly keychains. 😭😂 Sobrang random but they’re so cute, I couldn’t leave them behind. At least handa tayo for any situation, 'di ba? Practicality at its finest!
Now, I’m finally back in the 032 and shifting all my energy to Sinulog 2026. My mindset for the rest of the year is simple… Absolute Ease.
No more survival mode. I’m manifesting unrestricted resources, healthy relationships that respect my space and a frequency that stays high. The target is set, the hometown energy is buzzing and I’m ready for the drums to start beating.
See you on the streets, Cebu! Pit Señor!
