So as Sapphire and Pearl aren't in jail we can presume Sapphire killing the violin teacher gets covered up; the story didn't go into detail about how she got away with killing Widdershins Snuffmonger, so it's possible this doesn't need an explanation either. (Also the technology level is vaguely-early-20th-century so it's not as if she needs to worry about security cameras or touch DNA)
All that said it would be real convenient for Sapphire if a new boyfriend was versed in covering up murders...
My Other Brain Is An Idiot part 2
Part 2 of my webcomic My Other Brain Is An Idiot has started. This is a good time to catch up or to start reading or to get someone else to read it.

why's the radio host losing more of his teeth and ear?? is this incredibly plot relevant?
I couldn't possibly reveal such a major spoiler.
Me when my mutuals make a funny joke
Another classic Thorsby drug scene, but this one appears to show Hill seeing Valley, for the first time in his life:
So we already know, just from how much attention was paid to it almost being shot, that this isn't The Patient Artificer and the real one is the Fairy Statue at Sandstorm's place.
But what's going on here? Two different groups of people interested in grabbing that statue show up dead from specifically headshots. Plus the furious ones all shooting each other. In the forehead.
I suspect something is going on, something the statue is doing.
thorsby's already covered the anthropic effect in Transdimensional Brain Chip, so I don't think it's just "the world only survives if these people die". But there's something afoot.
This is really interesting; the anger mentor isn't just spitting out random encouragement to violence, it appears to be a full person, with the ability to reason and talk independently of it's snaslee.
Is that the big thing, for this comic? All the little subsystems of your brain are independently conscious, or capable of being so, and the statue lets you bring them out?
