I drew what these two goobers look like in my AU. These two while still in the Eggman empire, are good guys. They are good guys on the wrong side.
They were made when the doctor was still just a simple scientist and Maria (His daughter in this AU) was still alive, they are based off her children's drawings, as he let her design his lab assistants.
Dispite being programed and designed to be silly and goofy to give a bit of life in the labs, they are actually very intelligent.
Scratch has a papyrus type personality to him. He's a happy go lucky go getter, whom is a ball of optimism and energy. Grounder is a guy who loves to make jokes, be very down to earth, and is definitely the one handling the paperwork.
They were one of Rifle's/Shadow's first friends on the planet (Besides the doc), they still are. He visits them from time to time. They act like his silly goofy older brothers.
They have long since retired as lab assistants for the doc and now run a Mechanics business in center robotroplis.
