@intcthatgoodnight liked for a padawan starter. (Ani or Obi)
The truth of it was that she had barely had time to get her feet under her since her arrival at the Jedi temple on Tython. While she had spent the majority of the four day journey in meditation, knowing that so much new and unknown was awaiting her, her attempts to maintain a steady calm and focus had not been as successful as she had hoped — which had made the praise of the Master that had greeted her seem almost like a rebuke instead of the praise it had been intended as. Still, she had done her best to brush all of her certainty and nervous anxiety aside when she had been called unexpectedly into action almost immediately upon arrival and she’d been grateful to have been able to return to the temple with her tasks complete and the wayward padawans returned - mostly unharmed and the flesh raiders (certainly a strange and unusual species, one that seemed to have become a danger here nearly overnight!) thwarted, at least for the moment.
Now, hours after her arrival, her adventures, initial testing, assignments and her first impromptu meeting with the Jedi Council behind her she had found herself with time of her own. Nightly meditation and sleep would come, but not yet and since she had missed the evening meal, she’d opted to search out the kitchens in hopes of procuring at least a small meal before bed. Or so she’d attempted. The temple felt a hundred times bigger than the small academy she had trained in and now she found herself paused at an intersection of hallways, slightly perplexed and at the sound of footsteps she turned, clearing her throat slightly before speaking to the man that had entered the peripheral. “Excuse me, I’m sorry to intrude on your thoughts but I … I seem to be a bit lost…”
