Okay only reason why I’m posting here is because a certain person is following me. Person I don’t want to know I’m saying this. Shit that’s relevant Now daidarabocchi saw the thing I wrote on the thing they wrote on Rhack. So basically my stance is that people need to acknowledge that what they are writing/drawing is abusive. Now I’m someone who ships Rhack and a lot of other abusive ships. I know the type of people that ship it. And most of the time they aren’t like me (someone who has been abused, who has dealt with a lot of what is involved in said ships AND understands in full what I’m shipping and admit that it’s abusive ((which is VERY important) )). I see them almost loose touch in reality of whats going on and even go so far as to not tag shit right because they truly don’t see it as abuse or sexual assault (keeping the term out for tw) So while I agree that a lot of it is headcanon- I see quite a few domestic AU’s- People still pair jack and rhys into the most abusive situations they possible can and its like...thats it. That’s the kink. Fear, abuse, etc. It just feels like if we were to label it as NOT abusive, it just allows people to look the other way and not own up to what they ship if that makes sense. Like it might seem like no big deal But like I said, I ship these ships. I know the people. I see how they think stalking is romantic, how certain abusive elements are hot that they’d want that done to them, etc. Bigges thing is having Jack take over Rhys’ body and do things without his consent. So yknow. I guess it’s a complicated situation. I mean there’s no real answer- I don’t think people should be necessarily shamed but man. Idk about letting them off the hook yknow? Idk if this makes sense or if it’s even relevant to the original thing I know mobius deleted their comment, but I wanted to include them to show like Im not attacking Just kind of bringing attention the potential harm of saying it’s not inherently abusive or saying that Jack isn’t inherently abusive (I know at some point he ‘wasnt really’ but people gravitate towards it. Ahh im probably repeating myself and this isnt very clear but yeah
