I'm writing some little mobswitch stabdad drabbles, and maybe a full fic or fanadventure at some point, and decided to do a story of cover art for the au in general.

Kind of aiming for a 80s/90s synthwave horror vibe for the overall vibe.

Obviously, instead of the beta trolls this stabdads au focuses on the dancestors, namely the ones front and center.

In this timeline, Dave and Jade's frog breeding efforts were successful, and Sidona's egg was identified and sent to Prospit.

They are essentially a prince fertility idol. Sid has grown up surrounded by sycophants with no true family or friends. Anura was still destroyed after they were taken, so Midon is long dead.

As a result, MS!Sidona is arrogant, assertive, flirty, and constantly cheapens themselves for approval from the public and their handlers. They've been in the media since before they hatched and expect to command attention. It's all a big act to cover up their insecurity and loneliness. Sidona is so fucking needy.

Chubby and opulent, LOVES fruit and will literally recline and be fed grapes like Hedonism Bot. Sid wears loose, revealing robes, having been taught their body belongs to the Kingdom, and does not hide their tail.

Instead of seeing Doc, Sidona's medical needs are meet by Dic, aka Perfidious Sawbones. Under the direction of the royal family, he's grooming Sidona to produce eggs in the future, giving Prospit potential control over multiple universes.

Slips away from their handlers on a diplomatic mission to the Midnight City, meets Deadeye Detective when he saves them from Pernicious Innovator.

Sid is drawn to Deadeye because he is the first person to be completely unimpressed by them, positively or negatively. They get a little obsessed.
