hey everyone ! first of all, please don’t be alarmed by this post — there’s already a lot of scary stuff happening right now & we promise we mean well with this post ! of course everything that’s going on in the world has been going on for a little while now, but times are tough & we know a few people, including ourselves, are struggling for many reasons. some of you are working or studying from home, or both & people’s mental health is understandably being greatly affected by this. in turn, of course this affects muse, inspiration & just general motivation to do anything — we’re all going through it. our main priority in this group is the well-being of our members & as we always say, real life comes first.
for this reason & taking everything into consideration, we have decided to put the group on an indefinite hiatus. this doesn’t mean we’re closing down, we’re just putting the motions on pause for a while. this means we won’t be hosting any events, posting activity checks, accepting any apps, etc. there’s absolutely no obligation for you guys to stick around, but we’re still going to remain open for character interactions ! if you want to continue threads, start up new ones, whatever you feel like, then please do as we know it’s a welcome distraction from all of this mess ! we’re just taking the pressure off & giving everyone more freedom to come & go as they please & take the time for yourselves. we know that this is a hard time for us all & the last thing we want is to make anyone feel like they have to be here, especially when we ourselves are struggling.
when this has all blown over, hopefully we can return to normal & have the group up & running fully again, with a fresh mindset & a fresh start. we love all of you guys & appreciate you all. we cannot thank you enough for all the time & energy you’ve put into this place & sticking with us through all of this ! we’ll be keeping the discord chat open too, so if you don’t want to carry on with interactions, we can still chat on there !

from 5pm gmt on january 3rd, mocha will be transformed for a gatsby-esque extravaganza, complete with 20′s themed decorations, cocktails & snacks, in true mocha style ! there will be a dj, playing all of your favourite songs from the last 20 years, so you can dance the night away & let loose !
guests are encouraged to dress up for the occasion, but it isn’t necessary !
so come on down & kick off the new roaring 20′s with all of us here at mocha !
