Maybe it hurts because the rose and the note reminded you why you loved him. And now you miss him even though youre telling yourself shouldn’t feel like this.

I don't miss him. I couldn't. There wasn't enough there for me to fall in love with. He was lovely, yes, but I can't fall in love that easily.
