I’m going to uni next year, and I want to establish that I’m a lesbian right from the start. How do I do this without an awkward coming out scene? Thanks xx

wear one of those shirts that says nobody knows im lesbian! flag heavily w denim jackets, pins, short hair etc all the pillars of lesbian fashion and if you’re more femme usually wearing too much makeup/unconventional makeup or no makeup at all can flag!! if all else fails you can probably say to someone you’re gay and it’ll spread around,, good luck <3

Hey there, I'm a veggie-based eater and I wanted to know if some of the recipes included in the cookbook were friendly towards that? I'm rather interested in buying it regardless, but I'd love to know if I could use some of the recipes as well!

Most of the recipes are actually vegetarian! There is a seafood section, but other than that I think that there are no others that use meat (don't quote me on that though, I haven't actually looked through all of the recipes). The reason for this is that Stardew Valley doesn't have meat products (other than fish) so a lot of our chefs decided to stick to the outlines of the game!

 If you're also curious, we have a baked goods/breakfast and a dessert category that definitely do not have any meat whatsoever.

Chef applications are closing soon! We’re pushing the schedule a bit because as of this moment we’re done judging the amazing applications we’ve received, and are ready to pick the recipes for the zine! Stay tuned for ARTIST/WRITER APPLICATIONS coming to you tomorrow or the next day!

Interest Check Results!

We had a total of 137 responses! As a result, we’re definitely going forward with this zine! 

Of those responses, 121 people were interested in participating! Chef apps open on May 15th, so we hope to see you there!

Since the answers on whether this zine should be for profit or for charity were evenly split, the mod team has decided it should be for profit! Thank you for your input!

Over half of the responses said yes to merch, so, therefore, we will be producing merch! 

Thank you so much for your interest in this cookbook! We’re incredibly excited to be working with y’all to make this cookbook a success. Keep following our blog and our twitter for updates and information!

How many apps do you have so far?

I’m afraid I can’t explicitly give you the numbers, but we are below the threshold  on writers and merch artists, and we’re only a few over on artist apps.

When you say write about a character’s feelings towards Autumn’s bounty, what do you mean? Like do we pick a character and write about why or why not they would like it?

Writers on the cookbook will be tasked with writing a “blurb” for the recipe! Basically, when you think of any recipe blog, they usually have a story to go with whatever recipe there is, right? That’s what we want to see when we say that! Put yourself in the eyes of a character and how they feel when they’re making it, eating it, or what Autumn’s Bounty reminds them of.
