So it occurred to me

That neither Octy nor I posted an official uh.... mission statement? We’ve never really stated what this blog was for specifically. Caged Hearts is a visual novel we’re working on together. It revolves around a young woman Named Aurora ‘Rory’ Stevens, who works for a group called ‘The Aviary’ which helps protect preternatural creatures from...everything. The game will consist of five routes with multiple endings, and a final, sixth, ‘True Route’, also with multiple endings. Which basically means that we need crowd funding. We need help from you guys out there in the internet to help bring this project to fruition. We need to hire an artist. We need to hire a musician. And we need to hire voice actors. Funds from the Kickstarter I’m working on would go to pay all these people. If the campaign does amazingly well (and I mean like tens of thousands of dollars) it would allow me to take a long vacation from my job to focus solely on this project. Part of it would also buy Mod Octypie a new laptop and sort out a couple of her bills so that she can devote more time to the project. We’re hoping to have a year for production once the Kickstarter ends, meaning if all goes well, Caged Hearts will be released around October/November 2017. Of course, if we reach that aforementioned amazing crowd fund, we would probably be able to get it out sooner. I’m hoping that, through this blog, you gentlepeople will get a better understanding of the story and characters of Caged Hearts as well as the two ladies behind it. Please be on the lookout for auditions for various things as well. I think this is going to be a fun journey together. I can’t wait. ♥

Kickstarter Progress

I'm trying to sort out what proper rewards for backers would be and make the proposal look somewhat professional. I hope to have it up soon though, since without some kind of crowd funding this project will never fly. Just a quick update from Mod Ammy♡
