As an adult who responds to kin calls, I am thoroughly uncomfortable interacting with minors. And yet so many minors I run into just go, 'It's okay! I'm fine with adults!'
To minors: Please, an adult is expressing discomfort interacting with you. I know you don't want to be an inconvenience. I know you really wanna make a friend. I know that when someone says "I'm not okay with the age gap", you think you can fix things by saying you're not uncomfortable. It is also about the adult's comfort. They are trying to keep you safe.
To adults: It is our responsibility to keep the younger members of our community safe. Even if a minor tells you they're fine with you, and you truly believe that you speaking to them is going to be a good healthy relationship: Remember your place. Remember what an age difference looks like in the 'real world'. If you're currently working open til close as an Arby's Witch and they're studying for their SATS, is it really gonna be fun and funky?
I didn't wish to use the last call as a soapbox, so I made a separate post.

Lol, what was it this time that warranted the "this is a kin blog, no a rp blog" reminder? That is if you don't mind sharing?
To clarify a little more: Someone replied to a canon call using a roleplay blog, as though it were an RP prompt.
It's particularly aggravating to look for notes on your published ask, only to see that the interaction you got was from a roleplayer.
This is not a roleplay blog.
The asks published by us are calls looking for sourcemates.
They are not prompts for roleplay blogs to interact with. They are not invitations to roleplay. They are canon calls. Roleplayers, please leave them alone.
