Hi, everyone!

First off, I want to apologize for, once again, being away for so long. Early 20s is a hectic time in life, I suppose, and between college and moving out I’ve been very, very busy. I’m trying to figure out a way to gain easier access to this blog other than through my laptop so that I can check in and reply to questions and submissions quickly.

Secondly -- wow!! over 100 new followers? Hello! I promise this blog isn’t dead, just me, internally. I’m the only person that runs this blog so activity is a little sporadic.

I’ll be tending to new submissions and cleaning up the inbox and messenger. As a note -- if you were wanting to start up an RP with me, I will be reposting my information soon, so please check that first! Unless it’s a request to change or update a post, I don’t normally respond to messenger messages, since there’s always the risk of it being spam. It’s nothing personal, I promise.

Back From Unannounced Hiatus

Hey all! Admin here. I’m extremely sorry for disappearing for such a long length of time; there’s a multitude of reasons why, but I won’t put it all in open if you’re just wanting to know this blog is still alive and active. I’ll be going through submissions and answering any asks, and hopefully keep this blog up to date.

As stated in the rules and info, I’m currently enrolled in college. And being college age, that means I have a job, too -- balancing these, along with sleep and socialization, is difficult on it’s own. However, I also unfortunately suffer from mental illnesses, which makes things even harder. So this made for some inconvenience, and I know contributed to part of the hiatus.

However, not long before I went on vacation, an incident occurred at my work. I happened to be part of the overnight crew of a 24 hour fast food place, since it cooperated well with my sleeping schedule. Long story short, we were robbed, and my manager and I were held at gunpoint. I don’t want to go into detail, because I’m still going through therapy to help me cope and recover from the PTSD caused by this. But the consequential mental state, along with my continued daily stress, just seemed to keep me from being very active here. So, in the end, my anxiety has been bad enough that I’ve been avoiding social media until recently.

I’m still recovering from what happened, but hopefully things will start being put back on track again. Thank you all for your patience.

Hello guys! I have an update!

So, since I had a few questions and mentions about age limits and legal age with RP partners, I’ve added a new part to the submission page where one can provide any information they feel necessary to add, including limits on RP partners’ ages, their own age, etc. None of this information is mandatory for others to disclose, however, so please keep that in mind. The comfort and more importantly safety of others is first priority.

Hello, i recently turned 18 and have had to disconnect with all the people that i was roleplaying with bc of the age difference since I'm not considered an adult and am not comfortable rp-ing with anyone who's underage, so I was wondering if you knew anyone that's submitted their info to here that's also 18 or older bc I didnt that info being provided on the posts and though i totally understand that this is the internet, i think it'd be more helpful if people mentioned their age...?

Though I’ve thought of this before, I’m not sure how well this would work – if the person is underaged, then it might be uncomfortable to them to give out their age, and legal age depends on the country. In the US it’s 18, but in the UK it’s 16, Japan it’s 14, so on and so forth… and that can get a little sticky when it comes to all of that, because it could be illegal here, but totally legal there. Plus, there’s no guarantee anyone submitting their information would be truthful; there’s plenty of times I lied about my age on the internet.

My recommendation is to just ask beforehand, or, if you submit your information, provide in limitations that you don’t RP with anyone under a certain age.

Sorry for the inconvenience; I’ll try and think up a way to possibly edit the submission info to help with the problem while staying inclusive to other countries.
