Side note, how would everyone feel about mini plot drops? Anyone who’s familiar with festivals knows that there’s always some kind of disaster: i.e. a stage collapsing, an area catching fire due to pyro issues, etc. I think it would help to occasionally shake things up a bit and give people things to talk about or carve plots around, but wanted to get a general consensus. My biggest concern would be possibly triggering someone should a negative wildcard be thrown in there. Leave a reply to let us know what you think or if you have any alternative ideas/suggestions!

As promised, tour dates have been posted! It’s a short one to start off with, focusing on the western half of the US, but another leg will follow in due time. As stated in the rules, all characters are expected to partake in each of the dates listed unless something interferes, in which case you’ll need to have a discussion with Mod Cher or I about that!

As you might’ve noticed by the change in graphics, Uproar has a new theme! This was kind of a spur of the moment thing brought on by indecisiveness and a discovery while searching for a fitting gossip blog theme. I hope you all like it!

Expect tour dates to be announced within the next day or two, but as of right now, we’re planning to have the initial date begin just over a week from now (May 30th), so don’t get your character tied up for too long!

Edit: Also, to tack on to this, there’s been a change in the rules regarding selfie limits. You can check that out by viewing the dash etiquette portion in the rules.

are you allowing palaye royale? if so can I reserve remington for s?

Truthfully, I’m not very familiar with Palaye Royale and can remember seeing people speak of them in the past, however I’m not sure of allegations and things like that. I think I’ll leave this one to the members - if you’d be uncomfortable with Remington here, please like this post.

Edit: Because multiple people have expressed that they would be uncomfortable with this person in the group, I’m going to have to reject the reserve, I’m sorry! However, don’t let that discourage you - we’d love to see you around as someone else.

So sorry! It’s been an extremely busy 40 hour work week for me; I haven’t had much free time at all. You can expect some activity on Tuesday, but in the mean time, feel free to send in questions and interactions - we have to have things to work with and when I last checked a day or so ago, the inbox was empty.

could non band members leave tour early or is it mandatory to stay through the whole thing once you’re on?

As it goes in the rules, tour is mandatory and it’s essential that your character shows up to every tour date. If your character has some kind of significant event happening while tour is on (like a wedding or something career related like attending award shows, or even an unnamed plot), then you need to let us know ahead of time and we’ll give you the green light for your character to be off tour for such and such time.

Hi there. So I've noticed that there's a lot of people that aren't reaching out and talking to others on the dash and it bums me out because I go out of my way to make sure people don't feel ignored but my characters get ignored a lot on the dash. There are some people that are great about reaching out but others not so much. Trying to get plots going is a real chore when people aren't responding.

Guys, please be mindful that we need to make an effort in acknowledging others on the dash! If you see someone making an effort with original posts, have your character drop their two cents in. You never know, your characters could mesh super well and a real friendship could blossom, the possibilities are literally limitless. That being said, if you’re down for conversations on gh, please like this post.
