head's up! the homestuck daily web site no longer has a comment section. this is not an error, the site is not broken, we did that on purpose.

this is hopefully temporary! we were having a lot of technical issues with the site over the past few weeks, and disqus especially was a big problem. so we made the decision to remove disqus comments for now, they will come back eventually though it might take some time.

we don't, though there are some fair assumptions a lot of people are making. i will not say what i think of it here since homestuck daily doesn't deal in rumours, we won't be reporting on it until something is officially confirmed.

Call for photos/videos

Were YOU at the Requiem Café x Homestuck 15th anniversary event? if you were, please send us any photos and videos you'd be ok with us putting in an article!

We are mainly looking for photos featuring cosplays, group shots, as well as the décor and themed food and drinks. We would also like videos capturing the atmosphere of the event!

As always, you can DM us on any of our social media or send us an email! Contact @marsti directly with any questions you may have.

Do not send us anything you didn't take yourself without explicit permission, and please make sure everyone in the photos would be ok with being featured on our website.

latest upd8 post was apparently from the future and incorrectly listed as 02/20/2024. article has been updated to reflect the actual date of posting. we assure you nobody in the homestuck daily staff is a time traveler, from another dimension, or otherwise exists outside of your current perceived space-time continuum. i'm just bad at typing. don't worry about it.

will more regular posts resume once the comments situation is figured out?

short answer: yes they will!

long answer: fixing the comment section is our main priority, but as cliché as it might sound i want to remind everyone this site is run by only 3 people. we all have our own things to deal with.

AT currently doesn't have a laptop or PC and probably won't get one in the near future, elusive is a full-time employee in the world of sports TV with the australia open currently going on and the olympics coming up, and i am a full-time freelance artist working for various video games and podcasts and doing commission work as well as working on my own projects.

the regular activity at the site's beginning was pure luck, we were all in a good place to make it work. the current state of things is bad luck, we're all dealing with too many things to maintain the site past the bare essentials.

once the comment section is fixed, you can expect fanart showcases and posts regarding independent works to resume at lest every week. in the meantime, the current schedule is "whenever we have time for it" and we're all sorry it has to be so.
