This vid made me check out the movie and it was as as much a delight as this fanwork promised. I can really recommend both if you like trope-y charming (light) horror centering on characters of colour.

challenge 04: a vid that made you start watching a new show/movie
Not Gonna Take It by lilly_the_kid Adventures of Robin Hood (1938) the video gave me a big smile and energy, and I am happy to report that the movie is much in the same vein
Sons and Daughters by frayadjacent Whale Rider I love the mystical feeling in the video, the beautiful visuals, and most of all the one of community/family - the movie delieverd but also had me cry a lot.
nights like this by autumnburn Dor I watched the vid, the movie and the vid again in one day, thats how much i liked it. The movie is a bit longer then I am used to but definitly interesting and deserving more fanwork.
Paper Planes by mithborien Bandidas The movie has a boring love triangle (that mithborien wisely edited out), which dragged the movie a bit down but the bits that are in this vid the relationship between the women, the bright colours, and the underdogs winning thing, that was great fun and good to watch.
Time after Time by lilly the kid Men in Black I have tried to watch Men in Black 3 before watching this fanvideo but never got past the cake scene, when I tried again because of this vid it was as extra exta cheesy as this vid promised and i enjoyed it a lot.
when my boy walks down the street by fan eunice Ferris Bueller´s Day Off I kind of heard of the movie before, but never had any intention to watch it as romantic movies are due to hetronormativity/sexism often not my thing, but the ot3ness of this video, that definitly had me interested, and yes the movie had a wonderful polyfeel to it and I enjoyed it greatly.
