Mod Post:
The entire King of Darkness arc after part 3:
Yes, dear reader... I feel the same way too. I confess, I am too very confused.
From using an impossible army to draining water from a planet. What?
The feeling is mutual. Not to worry, I will try to "fix" this. Let me try to resolve this. - Mod.
Friendly reminder Terfs and Transmeds aren’t welcome here. May just be a fun custom design blog but guess who runs it. Someone under the trans umbrella. Begone thots.

So, recently I had a thought. A really crazy thought, but it’s just too good to keep to myself.
So, Spirit Orbs. Basically the physical (are they physical?) manifestation of literal blessings from Hylia. And yet, in spite of them being holy blessings from the goddess of Hyrule, they don’t do much. Save four of them up, and you can enhance your health or your stamina, and that’s about it.
But what if they could do something more? What if there’s an even greater ability to the Spirit Orbs we don’t know about? They are the blessings of Hylia, after all, and blessings in many ancient religions are interchangeable with miracles. What if, collected in large enough numbers and saved up, they could be used for certain miracles Link couldn’t do on his own?
Like, for instance, bringing someone back to life, perhaps?
The idea here is that, over the course of his adventure in some AU of BotW, Link learns that offering up a certain number of Spirit Orbs to a Goddess statue (7, 12, 15, ect) can bring someone back to life. After discovering this, Link hoards Spirit Orbs like no tomorrow, only using a scant few to increase his heart pool and stamina wheel so his journey across Hyrule can be a bit easier.
Once the final battle is over, Link and Zelda are confronted by the spirits, who congratulate them on their success against Ganon, before preparing to finally pass on. Link stops them, though, and offers them a chance to come back to life, using the Spirit Orbs in a huge miracle that can bring them back. Those that accept get to return to Hyrule and help in its reconstruction, while those that don’t choose to pass on.
Like I said, really weird idea, but I like it.
