RAPID FIRE - TROPES THAT ARE JUST QUADRANTS

Buddy cops - Okay, so hear me out, there are officers of the law, but get this: They’re moirails.

Enemies to lovers - either the pitch quadrant or pitch-flushed vacillation (occasionally platonic enemies to flushed, but it’s very rare.)

The mean trio - (mean girls, heathers, etc.) - Just a (usually dysfunctional) ashen triad.

Friends to lovers - pale flushed vacillation.

The straight man - The comic relief’s moirail (incredibly often)

The rom-com BFF (the one who gets ignored and is overly supportive of their friend) - The protagonists neglected moirail.

Bonus: Most love triangles wouldn’t be a problem if they understood quadrants! There’s normally one love interest and one hate interest!
