No picture since that would fly in the face of the purpose of this mod. Some people don’t like to see these kinds of things and that’s fine.

Be aware of when this file is updated. I don't know what happens when this file is outdated, but they do update it.

Should be compatible with both JP and NA.

【Distinct Map Icons】

Player icons are more vibrant, standard enemy icons are now orange, tames are now purple, and mining rig hazards are now neon pink. Compatible with both JP and NA.

Won’t be recoloring the orange mining rig icon due to a lack of available colors. Icons exist in each color I could have changed it to, so it’d be best to just leave it alone instead of potentially making things more confusing later. This is also why I recolored the hazards; their red was the same shade as the (presently) unused red rig icon.

Please be aware of when Sega updates this file. It will see many updates throughout the game if PSO2 was any indicator. If you use an outdated version of this file, your UI may not display properly.

【Beta Deuman Skin (2017-11-19】

Usable by all races. Replaces the following: Female: 日焼け跡 / Tan Lines Male: 胸のキズ  / Chest Scar Face: フェイスガード　白 / White Face Guard

The one-sided texture was haunting me, so I fixed it and also recolored it a bunch of times. If you liked it being one-sided, you can still download the old version or erase half of this one manually. There’s a female version of each color, too. I only took pictures of one for simplicity.

This skin has been present within the game client since the first character creation demo, and is shown in early concept artwork. As found out earlier on this blog, it used to be loaded on deumans by default at some point in production. This is technically just a restoration of Sega’s own work, which for whatever reason, they have refused to give to us in any form.

...Also of note is that the Nanoblast body paint we received in 2017 has some suspiciously low-numbered filenames. 0180 for females (placing it among some early stockings and gloves) and 0010 for males (which matches the default deuman body paint aside from the dm/mm suffix, which places it directly among the default deuman body paint.) I mean. We’ve known Beasts were actually planned for this game for quite some time now. Their definite exclusion was only decided recently. Still kind of a dick move to wave in our faces.

【Remove Intrusive UI Elements】

Didn’t a lot of people ask for this? Removal of the emergency trial graphics. I hate them, and I know a lot of people do, too. You can say goodbye to them now.

These mods will break if updates are made to the UI. Rather, using them despite a UI update will possibly break your UI or worse. This counts for the backups, too. Please be observant of the affected files and consider ceasing use of this mod when the UI is updated. Depending on how things go, I'll try to keep it updated.

Each file has its own subfolder in case you only want one of these removals. They are:

Picture #1: Emergency Trial, Quest Complete, Client Order Complete Not pictured is client order stuff, but it’s easy to imagine, yes? Similar text such as gathering’s “COMBO” and “FEVER” is also removed. I can’t isolate this with what I know right now. The timer and rainbow palette for gathering are left in-tact, so there’s no real problem with missing the words.

Picture #2: Middle objective banner This applies to all of the banners that look like that. Sadly, I can’t remove the text itself with what I know right now. But it’s still less intrusive this way, I think.

Picture #3: ARKS Handbook icon I hate it.

Now supports the NA client!
