We love making Serverus and Pawn in Picrew.

The one with the brown waistcoat is Pawn btw (we missed his green hair) and the blonde haired one is Serverus.

hey, I only just found the acc and it looks super interesting, but I’d Iike to know if it’s a recurring thing or if it was a one-time thing. And if it is recurring, how often does it happen? And when will the next one be?

we may do our own animal battle once this whole fungi thing has concluded on a species level, however there is already @animalshowdown and @plant-taxonomy-showdown should you want more battles of this kind

once this phylum round has concluded we will move onto the fungi classes. which. may take a while once more considering how hard the phyla research was

thank you for your patience everyone! we were not expecting for this to take longer than a week, but we are thankfully getting closer to being able to begin our phyla round

we have a list of 14 phyla that will be released once our propaganda is complete. the position of some of these phyla are a little precarious, however we have done our best to make sure that it is accurate.

furthermore, if you want to complain about us including something that isn't a phylum i (eddie) will post a video of me crying because this research was hard thanks

The header image is clearly unfair, that is three mushrooms fighting only one crab thing. One of the mushrooms needs to become a crab through process of carcinisation in order to make this an acceptable fight.

i think we may have just solved the reason for fungi winning. hm. well i guess we have to start the tournament all over again

Hi!! First off I want to commend you guys for taking on the MONUMENTAL task at hand - y'all are absolute saints. Secondly, I have a proposition! So, as you can probably tell from my Multiple Propaganda Posts, I was really invested in Animalia winning the kingdom poll. All respect to Fungi for pulling ahead! It's clear people really love those lil spores. But I feel like there's a bunch of people who would still have a lot of fun with an animal bracket!

I was thinking of creating my own blog for such a task, but I wanted to check in with you guys first, since this was originally your idea. Do I have your blessing/permission to create an animal bracket based on the battle-of-the-taxons project? I definitely don't wanna compete or anything! I just think it'd be nice to give the animal crowd someplace to vote for their favorites too :)

Let me know if you guys are okay with it, and good luck hosting the remainder of the Fungi battle!!!! :D

honestly we were preparing for animalia to win!! we saw that fungi were sweeping the whole time and were kinda panicking lol! but its fine its good because it means we get to learn about new things and im hoping im gonna find a new favourite fungus in the process (Ranch here! Me too. Fungi seem super fascinating, this will be the beginning of a fascinating biology journey...)

you are totally welcome to create your own poll (yesyesyes!!!), however, me and ranch may have been discussing what to do once this fungi poll has been done, and since animalia is technically second place aaaand we're gonna need to do something with this blog. well. watch this space :)
