Outpost had met up with Hydra and Eight at a local bakery, to eat something sweet quick and then head out to go battle their teams at the base, but it was a bit of a trek from the bakery to The Tentakeel Outpost.

“Not really.”

“Nono, that’s Three’s excited face, Outpost.”

“Is it? Well… I don’t really get why they’re excited. Me and my ‘mon are going to win this, after all.”

Eight chuckled a little, as Hydra raised an eyebrow, cracking a smile.

Outpost let the two walk a little ahead, taking in the wild Wingull flying ahead and letting their continued conversations dull into the background.. at least, until he had to stop himself a few before crashing into Eight as the two stopped.

“Oh, huh.” “So the rumors were right.”

Turning his head to see what the big deal was, up above where the large screen usually played food and battle ads was instead an ad for a new place opening up near the harbor, a fishing business that works directly with professors in order to locate and safely catch injured and sick wild pokémon, ones hurt by unnatural means such as the pollution, and helping relocate them to professor and ranger care….

there’s been rumors that a new business is gonna open up soon, but i. straight up have seen nothing. people are so desperate for things to happen in this city when we’re literally THE city for pokémon. just watch a match or look at the contests???
