Well … Espurr didn’t want to admit it, but she had a crush.

Only a few weeks after meeting Deerling, Espurr started to develop feelings for the deer. She didn’t quite recognize these feelings, as she had never had a crush before, but she definitely felt that something was off.

However, Espurr had noticed before that Deerling seemed to spend a lot of time with Goomy. The two were good friends, but Espurr was worried that they might become more than that.

Still, she was happy for Deerling. So, when Valentine’s Day rolled around a couple weeks later, she found a bouquet of flowers and told Deerling to give them to Goomy.

Deerling was confused, but she did as Espurr asked and gave the flowers to Goomy.

Goomy, of course, was flattered, but he saw that something was off. Deerling was smiling, but there was a reluctance in her eyes. Goomy interrogated his friend on why she looked unhappy, and eventually she spilled.

Deerling cared for Goomy, of course. But … she liked someone else. She liked Espurr.

Goomy, suspecting as much, offered Deerling to help her with her crush. She accepted.

Later that day, Goomy gave Deerling a new bouquet of flowers, this one with a note in it, but he commanded her not to read it. He told her to give it to Espurr, and if she was too shy, she could just tell her that it was thanks for getting her a bouquet for Goomy.

But when Deerling gave her the bouquet, Espurr read the note first. It read:

“Happy Valentine’s Day!! I’m hella gay for you, but I’m too shy to admit it! So I had Goomy write this note for me so I wouldn’t have to say it to your face!”

When Espurr turned the note around so that Deerling could read it, she almost fainted.

But after calming down the poor deer, Espurr confessed to her, too. So the two got together that day, and they’ve been dating ever since.

And it’s all thanks to Goomy.

in the entirety of this blog I have only seen Pancham and Shelmet kiss. like. twice. and never saw Deerling and Espurr kiss either. this is unacceptable. you are not meeting your gay requirement for a blog with a title like this. I demand a refund

shelmet (or pancham) gets turned to stone before pancham (or shelmet) does. the one who does not get turned into stone goes through intense rage or sadness. they, if incredibly angry, try to fight yvetal / nuzleaf / the behyeem by themselves in a fit of anger and emotional turmoil. you can predict how that fight goes

First of all, how dare you.

Second of all, ngl, I actually developed my own au that’s pretty close to this one…

But in my au, either Pancham or Shelmet would be the lone survivor from Serene Village in the attacks by Yveltal and Nuzleaf. Nuzleaf would find the survivor crying over the stone body of the other… Yveltal would be about to turn the survivor to stone, but Nuzleaf would stop him.

He could use this survivor.

So Nuzleaf would then trick Pancham/Shelmet into working for him, with the promise that if the survivor helps Nuzleaf, then he’ll free the one who was turned to stone. Pancham/Shelmet accepts, willing to do anything to save the other.

…Of course, that’s one way to do it, but the other way is where both survive, but neither knows it. And Nuzleaf tricks one of them into working for him, saying that the other was turned to stone. And then Pancham/Shelmet accidentally turns the other into stone. And then the lone survivor from Serene Village sobs over the other’s stone-cold body, knowing that this was entirely their fault.

I love to suffer. :))))))))))
