Hello, Im new to the blog and I was just looking through and I saw Gavroche reposted this /post/87771515647 actually I believe he was making a pregnancy joke, losing blood while giving birth an' all that, which can actually kill and have dangers, just thought I'd let you guys know! :)
Ah, I think you're right, I misread that! Pregnancy and labour can certainly be dangerous. Rereading that now, my response sounds silly. Honestly though, I still do think taking a bullet is very different than pregnancy, and using pregnancy as an equivalent sacrifice isn't really a good comparison imo

What's your opinion on the Israel - Palestine conflict?
I'm honestly not sure what to think. Both sides are doing awful things, and all the information (at least that I've seen) is written with a bias for a certain side. Really, AI think things would be better if both sides would just come together to discuss the issue and to work out a fair compromise, though that's not likely, with how things are going

If misogyny exists, so does misandry. Both are forms of sexism ranging from institutional injustices (like circumcision for men and abortion for women) to smaller, more everyday things (like stereotyping)
A man could not speak about things I experience from being a woman, and likewise I cannot speak about what he experiences from being a man.
If men cannot speak about misogyny, then women cannot speak about misandry.
Otherwise you're putting out massive double standards

Alright, so tomorrow I leave to go for surgery. The procedure is Wednesday, so I may be able to post a tiny bit before then, but I'm going to be focusing more on recovery and such at that point. Hopefully I'll feel well enough to come back fairly quick, but until then, see you! <3
