nobody on this blog actually really truly hates jotaro kujo. I see a lot of people send messages to this blog about it being "bad" and asking us why we don't spend our time more productively, but i figured i might explain my original sentiment behind creating this blog.

the fact of the matter is that i believe jotaro is the weakest main character of all 8 parts so far, and i'm disappointed that he is the most popular. But! part 3 used to be my favorite part, and at that time i would have probably defended jotaro to the fucking death. Now after reading all of jojo and watching every animated adaption so far, i find that there's a lot of problematic culture surrounding the mindless idolization and fawning of jotaro.

first of all, i'm not trying to say that people who like part three and like jotaro are bad and i'm not trying to insult their taste, but reading all the other parts would benefit you. I didn't create this blog because jotaro is a bad person, and i didn't create this blog because i'm bitter and lonely (no matter how true you may believe that to be). i made it because people need to be exposed to the problematic shit they do to because they love jotaro. I guess in other words, we goof on jotaro because he's not as perfect as you would like to believe and it would do you well to recognize that.

although we're pretty lucky because we've never been harassed, there is no denying that you jotaro fans get mcfucking pissed, and that's not really healthy. jotaro is a fictional character, and while fiction can effect reality due to its influence, you should not be popping blood vessels over a fictional character getting goofed on for being a bad dad. Further more! you shouldn't send hate to people who dislike jotaro because you have no idea what they're going through.

for example: a young jojo fan has basically been abandoned by their father, by extension they dislike jotaro. after sharing their hatred of jotaro on a social media platform, they are sent messages telling them to 'kill themselves' for dissing on your fictional fucking character.

imagine that, how it might feel if their dead beat dad was given a free pass and justification by swarms of people. Hmmm it almost feels like the victim of such an occurrence is being isolated even further because you can't calm down and accept that they have an opinion different than yours.

i'm not telling you to pick another character to love, im just saying chill. And that's also what this blog is trying to say, so please just chill. -mod hato
