That should be a nice attention grabber.
So, here's the deal. Pokettodex has had several long stretches of decent activity, followed by even longer stretches of zero activity. We're at single digits in active accounts, and there are no indications that activity's going to pick up anytime soon. Fishie and I took over as mods because we thought we could reverse the slump that Pokettodex had dug itself into once the summer ended. Instead, we merely oversaw a continuing slump and tidied up when we could. The two of us are just too busy to keep constant watch over the masterlist, and honestly, neither of us really wants to when the dash goes for days without a single post.
Fishie and I talked it over with Paige, and we've decided to officially close Pokettodex, effective December 15th. Basically, we'll wait about two days for the remaining blogs to clear out, and then we'll remove everyone from the masterlist and leave this account up as an archive of sorts.
I'd like to thank the blogs, active or not, that stuck it out until the end (that's reckless-fire, ethaku, krisminaj, cottonx-lyra, hoennsbravest, hoennsflower, shirosenjou, soarintotheskies, -lighthouseheart, hypohyaline, eternallyblossoming, su-momo, bellumflos, artistic-bug, kudar-i, spookyauthoress, and meganebel), as well as Liz, Ghosty, Ritz, Miah, Adrian, Tessa, Murphy, and my co-mod Fishie for being all around cool kids that were around when I first joined and during the summer of 2012 where I really started enjoying RPing here.
Most of all, I'd like to thank Paige for giving Fishie and I the wonderful opportunity of running this RP community, and for making Pokettodex such an amazing group in the first place. (I never met the first mod/founder but I'll thank her too.) Pokettodex really got me back into RPing after my...less than savory experiences elsewhere.
So...I guess that's it. We had a good run, and Fishie and I tried our best to keep Pokettodex afloat, but I suppose it just wasn't meant to be.
