Howdy! Firstly, I have to apologise for not being able to do one for Bastion. It is definitely not a matter of me not supporting it: I love all the bots and have absolutely no problem with people requesting romantic stuff for them (I’m in love with Zenyatta too, my guy). It’s really just a matter of my incompetence in writing for Bastion as a character :’)) I’m just worried I won’t be able to do Bastion justice without making them seem too....... robotic?? I guess???? I promise I’ll try writing them in the future. Anyway, here’s the ones I could do!! Hope they’re just the right amount of angsty and fluffy <3

Zenyatta

He’s worried about you after just the first time. You wake up in the middle of the night gasping and it rouses him out of his meditation at the foot of your bed. He goes to comfort you but you’re still fresh out of the nightmare and kind of still freaking out. He doesn’t force you into a hug or anything, but instead lets you come to him when you’re ready. If you need it, he’ll even leave the room until you calm down. He knows it isn’t him, it’s the memories of the war and the suffering that you faced your family go through at the hands of the omnic extremists. When you’re ready, he’ll pull you into his lap and help you fall back to sleep. He stays so patient with you every time it happens.

Orisa

She is snapped out of sleep mode whenever it happens. Her programming makes it so that she will immediately power up when her sensors detect rapid movement/loud noises, so you waking up from a nightmare the first time almost triggered her defence mechanisms, in turn worsening your still-paranoid state of mind. She apologised when she detects no threats in the room, realising it was just you. Efi makes sure that it won’t happen again unless there really is a break-in or something similar at night. Orisa will encourage you to stay up and talk to her about the dreams, recording the reoccurring or simply more concerning ones (with your permission). When you eventually fall asleep, she’ll stay up to make sure you’re fine before entering rest mode again.

Genji

He wakes up even before you do, and already has you in his arms when you start awake. Even if you start to fight back in a panic, he’ll keep you in his embrace until you’re calm and back in the present. He’ll whisper reassurances to you, stroking your hair. If you cry, he won’t stop you. He knows what you went through, and you deserve all the time in the world to make up for what you lost. He’ll ask if you want to talk about it. If you do, he’ll stay up with you as long as you need. If not, he understands and stays up the rest if the night anyway to watch over you, waking you if it looks like you’re having another nightmare.
