the service pokemon discussions got me thinking… back when I worked produce at the grocery store and was alone through closing shifts i thought sometimes about having a partner pokemon to sit around and help me. my partner??? durant!!

i had a lot of trouble lifting the heavy boxes and putting them on my cart and wore a wrist brace for much of my job. you know who could help with that?? durant. he would be my little buddy and ride on my shoulder and sit on my cart and hand me avocados and bananas to put on display. hes socially minded because durants are very social pokemon. id sneak him little snacks as a treat and split my lunchbox sandwich with him. sometimes if he was naughty maybe he’d steal the cardboard boxes for breaking down and make a little fort…. i bet he’d love to chew on them. cute little durant…. little durant buddy…. hed be shiny also. shiny durant are COPPER with GREEN EYES and I have one in pkmn x he’s my specialist boy!!!
