PROMPTS AND RULES FOR MUSHISHIWEEK 2025
First up, thank you all so much for the many prompts and ideas you submitted, it was a thrill to construct this year‘s prompt list!
Mod Hiendar suggested to coin together 2-word prompts since single word ones can be too open - of course, we‘ve always provided two separate prompts per day for that exact reason, but I really liked this idea - therefore, this year‘s prompts look more elaborate! This way, we‘re also able to include double the amount of submitted prompts :D

The event will be held from Sunday, 19th of October - 26th of October. One day more than in previous years!

Day 1: Colourful shadow / green moon
Day 2: Summer shell / gentle routine
Day 3: Purple moss / flower language
Day 4: Unnatural injury / silk eggs
Day 5: Blood liquor / monochrome sky
Day 6: Characters as kids / eaten memories
Day 7: Mushishi OC / greetings, farewells
Day 8: Free day!

Rules
For each day, you may use one of the two provided prompts or you may also combine the two! Just make sure to post your works on the day of the according prompts.
Late entries are okay and welcomed, and we will reblog entries up until a month late.
In the same vein, feel free to share sketches, unfinished writing and otherwise unrendered works if fully completed ones are not in your power - this event is meant to reflect the healing energy its source material radiates, after all!
Please refrain from posting AI-generated content in this event. If we see such works, we will NOT engage with it.
