leonard, but like. from an english major standpoint because he’s just such a badly made character. like come on it shows how lazy they were with his character through every scene he’s in. they could have made such a more interesting plot if he had actually been well-written. i’m not bitter you are.

todays song from my gay ass: eight by sleeping at last is a during mh - post mh healing brian/hoody song (reasoning w lyrics in break! you know the drill)

eight is about someone who tried desperately to be strong to save everyone, and it takes a realization that they need to save themself for them to step back and try opening up to heal

now some projection! because once shit hits the fan, normal people dont run off into the woods what do you think happened to him in the past? and how hard do you think it hit when he realized that maybe he has to go back to surviving instead of living? how much of his hiding was relying on instincts from the past?

we never see his thoughts outside of "im a silly little hater" (/j /ref) so do you think he was self sacrificial? probably! do you think he was scared of being vulnerable after a few years? scared of tim ever finding him?

because... how hard do you think healing would have been if he had lived? how many sleepless nights, keeping watch? how hard would it be for him to even start talking again?

how hard would it be for him to actually open up? to talk about what happened in rosswood, let alone why he acted the way he did? how scared do you think he'd be of being vulnerable, despite it all being over?
