- The relaxing beat makes him feel like he’s in a fairly empty bar sitting at the counter after a break-up; drinking but not out of sorrow, more like out of revelation. When he hears this song, he also ends up thinking about those long years where he was alone after running away. Thinks about his father, his mother, his sister… He really felt like is was him against the world.
Yamamoto:

- Though he seems like he would be into more upbeat music, his feelings need an outlet, and usually he lets himself lose them to slow, soulful, and emotional music. This song is one of his favorites to listen to when he’s feeling low but not depressed, because it’s not a sad song, but it is so full of emotion. He’ll listen to it when he needs a break and goes for a walk around town at night. By the end of it, he always seems to feel better.
Ryohei:

- It’s little known that before a workout, Ryohei likes to get limber by dancing to this song. It’s long enough to count as a warm-up, sometimes he’ll even lazily stretch/dance to this song as a cool-down. He thought the song was about boxing or working out because of the title, but wasn’t disappointed when he realized it wasn’t, because at least after he got into it, it became a boxing song.

- He’s still young, but this song resonated with him. Lambo loves this song because his father did tell him to shoot (Reborn in particular). It’s a fun and upbeat song, you can practically feel the chaotic energy that feeds his small chaotic soul.

- He likes Beyoncé’s and Frank Ocean’s soothing voices, the slow melody, the quiet feel of the song in general. It manages to embody the understanding of power within relationships, and though Hibari still prefers being powerful on his own, he still acknowledges the relationships he has with the other guardians that give them all more strength when together. He will lend a hand when needed, though he’ll be stubborn about it.

- She thinks of Mukuro when she hears this song, feeling it’s relatable to their relationship; where it’s not love, but devotion. She’s very grateful to him for what he did, so even though people are weary of Mukuro and his actions aren’t always on the right side of lawful, she knows that he’s not a bad person and she’d follow him anywhere since he’s her angel.

- She cries when she hears this song, because it reminds her so much of Tsuna. She knows that it’s not that he doesn’t care about her, it’s just that he doesn’t care about her like that. She’s not stupid, she knows, but she’s in love and she can’t help caring. After hearing this song, she feels more energetic and hopeful for a change.

- She loves the woman empowerment in this song. She would often play this song in the future when Ipin, Haru, and she were all doing chores or hanging out while the boys were training; even blasting the song while on strike. Kyoko especially likes this song because now she uses it as motivation during her own boxing training with Ryohei.
