Scenario of Rune Slayer feeling Inferior to Immortal and Knight Emperor so they help him train because: "hey, you're us, you got it in you!" so you can also reach his 3rd class?
Rune Slayer lay on his bed, reading a book on fire magic, and let outa heavy sigh. Both Lord Knight and Infinity Sword had alreadymanaged to go a step further… Why hadn’t he? Did he need moreknowledge?
The boy closed the book and rolled over. He gazed up at the ceilingdreamily. He’d do anything to become a renewed version of himself.Better. Stronger. Faster. He just needed more knowledge, or training,or both.
He just didn’t know where to start.
“Rune!” Immortalran into the room and jumped onto his bed. After him, Knight Emperorappeared in the door opening. He seemed much more calm than Immortaland simply pulled up a chair, sitting on it and watching the twobrothers. Immortal pushed his hands down on Rune Slayer’s stomach,which caused him to wheeze and quickly sit up, pushing the olderbrother off of the bed. “Immortal and I were thinking, Rune,and-” “Immortal? Thinking?” He coughed a little,then smirked at the boy on the ground. “That’s new.”Immortal smirked back at him.“Anyways,” KE resumed,watching the two with a small smile. Boy, was Rune jealous of hiscape. “We were thinking we could help you. Your brother and Ihave already evolved, and we don’t want you to staybehind-”“Emperor, you forced me to help, I couldn’tgive a rat’s a-”“Shut up, Immortal.” A short pausefilled the room, before Emperor resumed what he was saying. “Anyways,we thought we’d help you. Sure we don’t know about runes, but we canhelp you train your physical and mental strength. How does thatsound?”Rune stared at them, an eyebrow raised indisbelief.“I told you he wouldn’t want it.” Immortalmumbled and got up, but KE grabbed the back of his shirt andeffortlessly pushed him back onto the ground.“If it’sanyone’s fault, Immortal, it’s yours.” He hissed.“You’renot even worth fighting with…” KE sighed and stood up, insteadsitting on Rune Slayer’s bed. “Anyways! I set up a rigoroustraining schedule! If you stick to it, you should be able to keepmoving forward. I made sure to leave time for rune studying, too.”He sighed. “I hate having to admit that that was your brother’sidea.” Immortal grinned from where he sat on the ground.“Heardthat, Rune? I’m smart, like you.”“What does the rune onmy shoulder mean?”Immortal fell silent again.“I’mstrong enough. I can train by myself.” Rune stood up, and so didKE, not looking impressed at all.“Really? Fine, then.”Emperor shifted his weight and placed a hand on his hip. “Ichallenge you to a duel. Immortal can be the referee.” The boy,as soon as his name was mentioned, started cheering. A duel! Howexciting! He could duel someone!“Fine. You versus me.”Rune crossed his arms, looking sharply at his brother.“Wait,I can’t participate?!” Immortal’s gaze immediately saddened.“B-But-”“You’re an idiot. I said you’re thereferee.” Emperor glared at him. He was tired of his idioticbrother. He was all muscles but lacked the brains; that’s why hepreferred Rune. If Immortal were the one who hadn’t evolved yet, hewould’ve not given two shits.“Okay, brother;” Runesmirked and put his chest out a little. “Outside. Rightnow.”“Show me all you’ve got, Rune.” Emperornodded in response. “Don’t disappoint me.”
BONUS
“Agh…!”Rune dropped on his knee and held his bleeding arm, dropping thesword he held. Knight Emperor stepped closer, towering over him. Runehad lost, as Immortal and Emperor had already anticipated. He wasn’tup to their level yet.
“I told you, Rune… You need to trainmore.” He reached his hand out to him. “We’re willing tohelp you. Just accept our help and you’ll become strong like us.”He gave a soft smile, accompanied by a nod. “But at least youdidn’t disappoint me. Good job."
Rune stared at his brother’shand, considering the offer. He had told himself that he could do italone all this time. But was accepting someone else’s help reallythat bad…?
Slowly, a smile spread across his face. No. He’d letthem help him. He took Emperor’s hand and gave him a nod.
"Ithink I’ll grow out my hair again…” Emperor and Immortalchuckled in response.
“Of course you will.”
