it's no problem!! we all really liked your icon when your ask came in (a bit later than the rest of that batch, eye catching) so i was excited to turn that into a little askling design :]

Hello! Ooc ask yall don't have to answer obviously! Just wanna give complements and stuff to the mods!

First off, aughhhhh the little guys you drew us as? Wasn't expecting that, but it's so adorable my gods. A+ for creative genius. Not to mention, figuring out what to draw me (and others of course) as might have been a little hard, and I apologize for that, haha! Had I know you'd be drawing our silly little asks, I would have picked a better sign off!

Second, gahhh I'm so excited for this! Don't really know the full plot yet but just these few posts makes me impatient for more lore and stuff! Im not asking you all to rush of course tho! I know good art requires time and patience! But aaaaaa I can't wait!!!

Uh third, but less important, could you possibly draw my little "askling" as more snakelike? Like still boxy and stuff, just moves more squiggly? And mayyyybe with a silly mouth to match? If thats too much effort for one asker I completely understand tho lol. I like the little line guy as is rn, I just personally prefer when a personification of me is more anthropomorphic, if that makes sense? But again, no pressure! Coloring multiple shades onto an asker seems like too much effort for one guy as is, haha!

Guh, ask got a little long, sorry! But I do truly love what you all have so far! Keep up the awesome work!

thank you so much!! i honestly had a fun time designing your askling, i'm really partial to making things fun little objects haha. fun to take things literally and make you a little paint swatch.

...that being said, yeah i was struggling with it. i think i have a good idea for how i can draw it better in the future (and potentially clean it up for the other mods) and i REALLY like the snakelike idea. i generally was trying to give all of them a bit of personality but eh i also had to design seven at once. so.

you will be seeing a new design next time one of your asks is answered. well aside from this answer.

Big fan of the concept of hue swatch snake, will definitely be implementing that for you, Gray. Honestly with you as a snake and our rabbit askling I could see us getting all asklings of all 12 members of the Chinese zodiac in here which like… isn’t super meaningful but a fun concept and also a special Rock treat. A littol treat for Rock!

ALSO glad you’re excited cuz we’re excited too! Ask responses are going to vary over time art and content wise but hopefully with 3 mods it should still be a fun ride for everyone involved! I’m honestly thrilled by the amount of asks we’re even getting so early on.

Hopefully tho no one will have to design 7 asklings in one go again. Paper really took one for the team today. Thank you Paper!
