Mod S, I noticed a few of your hcs mention Touken arguments which is something I can't imagine because they are both so nonconfrontational but I want to know if you have any detailed hcs about those arguments?

Kaneki is more non-confrontational than Touka, but I just imagine, like any marriage, there’s arguments. Not all of them are bad, but sometimes they can get intense. Kaneki and Touka are very much an intensity filled couple. They have a lot of pent up emotions in them which works for them in a lot of ways, but it can also stress a marriage. I also imagine them having difference disciplinary actions towards their children. I think of Touka being protective, but still very laid back with her children’s actions. Kaneki though is very over protective and in some ways controlling of their actions…worried something bad will happen to them. So, I can see them butting heads when it comes to that. But also communication is essential in any relationship.
I think this ask was brought up because I had mentioned Touka and Kaneki are separated in a fic of mine…and in that fic, it wasn’t cheating or anything like that, it was communication and Kaneki going down his self destructive path that causes Touka to want distance. She’s thinking about the kids.
