Maybe a somewhat dumb question to ask, but depending on which mod answers this, which FNAF character do you think the brothers would be??? Again I know it sounds kinda stupid but I like to ask people's opinions about it coming from someone who's into both OsoSan and FNAF
Huh... I didn't think people would ask us questions directly. In that case, this is where my personal opinions will show since you've kindly asked! :333 A "bit" (A LOT) of yapping below.
So here's the thing. I could be basic and give the easy answer that most of the fandom agrees on (at least based off of old fanart): the most universal is Osomatsu being Freddy. However, I want to dive deeper into the rest of the franchise, not just stick to games 1-3. But for now let's start with FNAF 1 only because I realized that covering all the games is exhausting for just one post. If I get another ask specifically for a certain game from the franchise, I don't mind doing it as well.
Osomatsu: Freddy. Basic, yes, but also self-explanatory. Leader of the group, usually not as active until you progress further into the nights where he becomes aggressive. He has a stupid little laugh that honestly feels like he's taunting you. He kinda gives a bit of a lazy "show up to the party last minute" kind of vibe. Not to say Freddy is like that but with his AI I can make connections with Osomatsu's personality and quirks. There's not much else I can say but he is the face of the franchise, even though he's not the most popular like Bonnie and Foxy. Maybe I'm biased because I'm a huge Bonnie fan but if I had to choose I would choose Foxy as the most popular in the fandom after FNAF 1's release. This will be important later. But yeah, there are probably a million more reasons as to why Osomatsu would be Freddy but for now that's all I can think of off the top of my head. Karamatsu: Bonnie. He plays guitar. Not as important but I still want to point that out. He's usually beside/second to Freddy like Karamatsu is to Osomatsu in terms of birth order. One of the most popular characters in FNAF 1 (Just like Foxy). In the fandom, Karamatsu and Ichimatsu were (and I still feel like they are) the most popular. At least in the first two seasons. I'm not sure with the English side of the fandom but in Japan they definitely were. Is Karamatsu the most aggressive of the brothers? Not even close. I think I am failing terribly at making the connections with both of them but I am trying to fit all of the brothers into a singular character so Karamatsu would have to be Bonnie since everyone else has stronger reasonings for why they are the character I assigned them to. If you or anyone else have more evidence to support my choice for Karamatsu being Bonnie I would LOVE to hear it. Actually I'm going to steal it from my Ichimatsu headcanon so... Bonnie being in the spotlight, always in the public eye and performing. Maybe I could also translate Bonnie's aggression into boldness and being bold enough to pursue people the way Bonnie does (ex. Free Hugs sign). Bonnie to me is a cool character in universe and I feel like Karamatsu would want to project onto him because he tries so hard to be cool but fails miserably. These points will be reiterated in my Ichimatsu portion. Choromatsu: Phone Guy. Very knowledgeable about the animatronics, has been working there for quite a while, and helps the player navigate each night until he dies in Night 4. The nervousness in his voice makes me think of Choromatsu's demeanor as well. I know there's not much else to use off of Phone Guy from just FNAF 1 but I'm kinda running out of characters here haha
