These are all the art from the past year or so [mostly the past 6 months of intensive rewrite planning so a lot of this is really recent!] that we can find easily and can share without major spoilers! I recall awhile ago you said that earth,the crystals gems and pink diamond weren't gonna be a main focus in the harvester which is fine
But do yoy plan to potential show of your own version of pink diamond even if she never appears in the story, if only for reference and comparison to the other diamonds designs?

YES, it still stands that in the rewrite, Earth and the Crystal Gems [Garnet, Amethyst, Pearl, and Steven] will NOT be a main focus of the story. There may be nods here and there [and maybe even... multiple chapters that take place on Earth <v<] but 99% of the story takes place on/focuses on Homeworld and its surrounding colony planets.
HOWEVER.
Pink actually will have a little more focus than she did in TH Legacy, in flashback form! Without spoiling anything, Pink's old role in the Diamond Authority has MUCH more weight on how and why White, Blue, and Yellow are the way they are in modern-day TH. Her role in the early days, her beliefs, and her separation during the Great Gem War all have ripples that are still being felt in the Authority to this day.
She's about 50% the same as SU Pink Diamond, with a few notable differences that we can't detail here without spoilers, but we can tell you what's similar!
Same voice, same general palette, plant-related powers, curious to a fault, fun-loving, a little bit ditzy, a hopeless romantic/idealist, a bit of a temper [less so than SU Pink], and an affection for small, cute things like humans or micro gems.
This ask inspired us to revamp pink's design with some concept art [old versions for reference!], so we hope you enjoy these concepts, anon! Her design is likely to change once we finally get around to writing the flashbacks, but we can't foresee it going TOO crazily different. We're pretty sold on her sakura motif, due to its cultural significance in Japan. Sakura blossoms [or cherry blossoms] are connected to themes of renewal, change, noble and elegant fleeting beauty, nature, and the delicacy of life itself. Pink was only truly part of the authority for a relatively short time, was in charge of pushing nature research forward [alongside White], and tried to bring significant change to the Diamond Authority... which wasn't received well.
VT will tweak her face and model later, but this is her current design!

Been a long time fan and I am excited to see the rewrite when you two get around to writing it! I wanted to ask, will the Diamonds be the same, or will they also be different? And, if so, how different are we talking? 👀

Well since you asked so politely~
Imagine you have a plain tshirt. You've worn it for a decade and you love how comfy it is.
Now imagine you add some tie-dye to it. And sew on a new pocket.
Looking at the two versions, surely these can't be the same shirts. But then, you put it on, and it still has that same comforting fit. In the ways that matter the most, it is the same shirt. Familiar. But now, it's visually stunning and has a useful new pocket too.
That's what the new versions of the Diamonds are like!
White, Yellow, and Blue are all still recognizable as their original versions. Nobody has made some crazy full 180 in personality, like Yellow suddenly being all cutesy and making puns or running away from fights like a coward.
Instead, all three of them are more complicated, fully-realized, and FUN versions of their original characters! Each has new aspects to them that make them more interesting, three-dimensional, with character arcs you can track more easily through the story.
Each Diamond has gone through a transformation/breakthrough of character development that's made each of them go from A-tier characters that we loved a lot, to each being S-tier characters that we cannot stop thinking/talking about. [Yellow was already pretty high up there. We had to bring White and Blue up to her level.~]
Their new traits are so integral to the rewrite, though, that we can't share TOO much detail on what exactly has changed. But just know, Blue the fun aunt, Yellow the hard-ass with a soft side, and White the wise and caring but sometimes temperamental mother are all still here.
They're just Bigger, Better, and more Radiant than ever.~
