The date has been chosen!

First of all, thank you all for voting and sending your insights!

Second, the winner is September! So, trying to keep everything in consideration, the chosen week is the one from 11th to 18th of September!

Now, what's next? The prompts!

We will be accepting prompt suggestions until the end of next week (Sunday 9th), and after that we will be making the pool to choose them. We will include last year's suggestions that didn't make it in the week as well.

Also, still like last year, we will keep the Bonus/VA Apreciation Day as default and two prompts will be personally chosen by us mods. The last four will be up to the vote! In case you weren't here last time, this decision was made to leave people freedom to choose but also avoid complete fan favorites domination of all the prompts. Just to spice things up a bit, you know?

And no, not for the week’s prompts pool this time, but for the Sapphic Superbowl!

Alright, in case you didn’t know here’s a summary: there’s this match going on between sapphic ships on Twitter, bumbleby was included and, incredibly, got to the final match!!

Arryn, as the Queen of Bees she is, of course hyped the event, and also implied that if bumbleby wins she will sing Treasure!!!

And we all want that, obviously!

Sooo, here we are, making this little intermission to do our part and ask you to go vote for our fellow bees!

Guess who's back!

Better late than never! We could never miss the week in the year of our beloved bees becoming canon, am I right?

So, let's get down to business:

We'll keep the same rules as past year, so don't worry about them, anything mentioned in the pinned Q&A post is still relevant (except the date of the week, we'll change the post soon)

For the prompts we will include the ones you sent to vote for last year as well (minus the chosen one obvs). Until we'll be making the pool you're still welcome to send your own.

Before voting on the prompts, we actually want you to choose the date. We have a couple of options, but considering that this year there's also the Big Bang, we wanted to find the best one to not have the events interfere with each other. We thought about two good options but we'll like to know which you prefer before choosing.

That's it for now, we will share soon the post with the link you can go vote on. If you have any question, don't hesitate to ask!

Happy end of the Bumbleby Week everyone!

We are once again very grateful for the support and engagement, and hope you had fun! We sure did with all the great things you all made.

Now, a couple of announcements!

First, the end of the week doesn't mean you lost your chance! We're planning to continue sharing things for roughly one more week for anyone who is a bit late, got an idea just now, or anything really. And even when we'll stop reblogging, we encourage you to still do your thing and play with our prompts if you feel like it: the important thing is to have fun! So, you do you, whenever you feel like being creative, just go for it, you got our full support :)

Second, we were thinking about doing the bumbleby week on the week of the bumbleby anniversary from next year on (around March 25th). They're officially canon now, it'd be a waste to not use their day after all, wouldn't it? It is still just an idea though, we'll probably talk about it again and decide on January, but we still thought to give you the heads up and threw the idea out there. Someone did mention it already while we were deciding for this year, so we think it would work nicely. As usual, feel free to let us know what you think!

One last thing: I, Mod Wings, want to give a big shout out to @foxaoxarts for all the work they put to this week! Because of personal things, this year I wasn't able to work on this event as much as I would have wanted, I still helped from the sidelines with decisions, organization and stuff, but I'm not afraid to admit that Foxa is the one who did the heavy lifting, and did an amazing job! So, it's only fair to give them the appreciation they deserve! Thank you friend :)

Hello lovely people!

First of all, thank you for the positive feedback you gave us so far, it means a lot! But now, let me introduce ourselves: I'm @set-wingedwarrior, you can call me Wings, and with @foxaoxarts we're the new coordinators of the bumbleby week!

To be clear though, we have no links with the older ones. This is all built from scratch by us simply because we didn't wish for the tradition to die. That means that there might be differences on how we handle it, mostly because neither of us have ever had experience doing anything like this before, and we hope you'll be patient with us as we're going to figure it out one step at the time.

We're planning on making a "Q&A" post soon to try and explain ourselves and our plans as quickly and as clear as possible, so if you have any question, just go ahead and ask! And depending on its "generality", we'll answer it directly or include it in our post.

We're also open to any suggestions and advice you might have, and we're even considering to recruit someone else to help us if they wish so (in that case it might be best to direct message one of us, just to talk more easily and avoid confusion).

Again, we're inexperienced and this is all very new to us, but we promise to do our best to save the tradition and keep it a good and positive experience for everyone! Thanks again for the support, and we'll see you soon!

It’s prompts time!

Hello there! We already mentioned it earlier this week, but for the sake of clarity this is the official announcement: we are finally accepting prompts for our first bumbleby week!

We didn’t mention it in the previous post (sorry about that), but we’ll be accepting suggestions until July 31th. Then we’ll make the pool for you to vote, but only as long as we receive enough suggestions! If we don’t, we’ll just pick them ourselves.

So, that’s it! Please send us all the prompts you want and be sure to reblog this announcement to spread the news! We’d love to see the widest range of ideas!

Hello there!

So, now that we spread the word a little and clarified the major points in our Q&A post, it is time to talk about another very important thing: the prompts.

As mentioned before, we don't really know how to approach them, so... we're asking you! Would you like to send your suggestions and put them to vote, like they did in the past years? Or should we start smaller, deciding on our own?

Consider this some sort of “interest check”. So, please, reblog and tell us what you think; we need to know that before we can proceed further!
