"Now that I've been here for awhile, contemplating my actions, I see how much of a fool I was. I should of stayed my ground, and not of ran away. But, I did anyhow, and there's no way for me to go back."

The king sighed softly, rubbing his temples. "Of course I miss her. I would be a fool not to. She was the love of my life, my one and only. We've been together for centuries, and all that thrown away for my selfish gain."

you're in a deeply isolated space and everyone but the white lady you cared about is dead. we got some compassion for u my dude.

He snorted, "I do not deserve pity. I have done so many bad things in the past, and continued to make bad choices. I ignore my loving wife, I didn't give the Hollow Knight any compassion, I sealed them away just to keep this ever ruined kingdom from officially falling... well, it didn't work, and it was all for nothing."

"I... do not know. I can not leave this enternal prison, and therefore not be able to see anything in the living world."

"I doubt they would want to see me, considering all the harm I brought to them. They didn't deserve it, and it would be best if I was just a forgotten memory for them."

Do you ever think about if someone you cared about misses you? Like the White Lady? I know there isn't many people left alive but if you could go back and make things right, how far would you go to try and fix things?

"I... Honestly do not know. They might, and they might not. The only one that I can think of that might miss me is my Root. But, she is also the one who hid herself away." He sighed, rubbing his temples. "If anyone did miss me, and wanted to seek me out, they could, but I'm not going to force anything. I can't leave anyhow." The King added with a shrug.

How sharp are your crown spike things? They’re quite pointy-looking.

"I mean, I don't think they are, but others may." The king said, a bit hesitantly. "But, that's also what I think, I don't allow many people to touch them, and would prefer others keep their space anyhow."

He sighed softly, rubbing his temples, "But as we all know, that doesn't quite happen anymore."

Would you sacrifice everything, just to give the beings you hurt so another chance at being happy without you in the picture?

"Yes."

It was a simple answer, but a sure one. He was almost positive that things would of been better if he didn't meddle with anything. By the time he noticed that what he was doing was wrong, it was to late. He regretted many of his actions.

"Maybe their lives would of been better. Maybe She wouldn't have gotten so angry and let Hallownest get infected. If anything, even if the Radiance take over Hallownest before me, void could of kept its stance and rule over it." He muttered.

"But, as per usual, things don't always go the right way." He sighed, rubbing his face. "But one could still wish it would be better."

What are your opinions on the traitor lord?

"I never thought much of him, or the Mantis Lords in general. They agreed not to interfere with the building around it as long as I didn't not meddle with their tribe. But, I did find out that the Traitor Lord, hence the name, was one of the few bugs that openly accepted Her." The king sighed.
