My name's Moddy. Let's say I grew up here since I joined pokemon community fresh at 13. Now that I'm 18, let me share a quick blurb of my art journey! I remember stepping into pokeask community under the blog "ask-team-adventure-pals" right on this day back in 2020, and THIS is the first ever askblog art I made!
Yes, it was my earliest time I tried to adapt my finger to draw on phone XD Apologies for the scrawny style lmao. That time, I had a big dream of becoming like my friends! A great artist and also a wonderful being!
I realized that there are hardships and challenges to overcome. It's hard to be happy, let alone enjoy my own work. But I realized that it is hard, but it ain't impossible, and I know that I'm not alone in this journey. With practices, breakdowns, more practice, internal and external encouragement, more breakdowns, style experiment, more encouragement, my art can turn from that into this!
Drawn in 2025, not long ago. I gotta admit, I have improved in quite a handful of aspects. Took lots of trials and error in deciding the "perfect" artstyle for me to adopt. I hope my art will continue to develop into something better every day. But of course, the 13-year-old me would be very proud to see how far she has come...🥹
I wanna say THANK YOU for all of my beloved friends from across the communities. Pokeask being the first, current, and (hopefully) continuing to be one of the main community I'm able to dive deeper to find my true potential in art. Commewnity (Mew/Two) is also one that played a very big role in my journey, same goes to PKMN IRL, especially that one RP server which I love dearly. I won't forget to mention other communities that I enjoy being part of, like DHMIS, Pokevillain, HTTYD, and KPDH! I'm forever thankful to have friends with the biggest patience, fun, and loads of support! I want to apologize if I have said or done hurtful things towards you all :( I hope we can remain friends forever! ILYSM :D
