There's an alternative! The recently opened branch of Artist and Craftsman Supply, also on Chapel Street, has a similar and bigger selection of model making and craft supplies. Useful because it is close and its the only real art supply store in New Haven, but its much cheaper to order things in advance if you know there are things you will need or tend to use a lot of...... a hem, chipboard.
