When I first heard about Tesla I feared it would be posh, superficial and wannabe like the people flocking around the Tesla cars on exhibition during the Autosalon. Then I discovered the ideas hiding behind the luxury brand. The promotion of clean energy. Real ecological progress intertwined with everything a true sports-sedan needs. Open sourcing their technology. Their plans for a giant factory running on solar power. The magnificent Powerwall, their project to bring clean solar-powered energy within the reach of every village in the world.
