Made another trip to my friendly neighborhood Goodwill and found these new condition, macaroni-shaped, mod-style speakers by French computer hardware company LaCie. They teamed up with award winning Scottish industrial designer Neil Poulton to create speakers with a rich sound and minimalist design. All for a wallet-busting $9.

The bus-powered universal USB speakers have been awarded the Janus 2007 Seal of Quality by the French Institute of Design, and listed in Time Magazine’s Design 100 issue.
