What I've been affectionately referring to as my dandelion druid has been a long time in the works. Originally inspired by a woven dandelion crown I found on a walk, he's gone through many different sketch iterations. I finally began committing him to paint last year for my solo show "Fruiting Bodies," and was sad that he had to be cut for time. Luckily I had an excuse to finish for Restless Garden.

Lori Nelson's "Decamp."

Currently on view at Modern Eden in San Francisco, California is artist Lori Nelson's solo exhibition, "Decamp."

This new series explores the "great decampment" from the cities that the artist witnessed and lived over the course of the pandemic.

Modern Eden Gallery presents 'The Portrait Show VIII: Profiles', their 8th annual group art exhibition featuring new artwork from 20 artists with a particular theme that plays on the history and pageantry of the painted portrait.

Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, the exhibition will be available on view at the gallery through appointment only and on the Modern Eden website.

The art show will be on display until August 1 2020.
