Getting Rusty

“Okay, so usually I’m good enough at this that I don’t get caught, so either you’re not what you seem or I’m getting rusty.” Nora sighed and forked over the wallet that she’d tried to take off the man. If the former was right, she didn’t want to get on his bad side, and if the latter was... well, she’d just need to try harder next time. 

Frankly, she was hoping for a non-human answer. That meant she wasn’t getting rusty, at least, plus someone to talk to that wouldn’t forget her the moment he looked away.
