Open RP - Birb Problems
Raven grinned and nodded at her, eagerly taking her hand in the shake that she provided, not getting any bad vibes from her more or less. And well, she was pretty funny so he felt that he could trust her, if at least a little bit anyways.
“Oh hi Nora! That’s a nice name, I like that. I’m named after a bird too actually, Raven. Not exactly a crow, but pretty close!”
She grinned, "Well, we've already got that in common, then!" She shook his hand heartily. Nora had a pretty good instinct for people, and Raven didn't set off any warning flares.
"Same family, I think. Rooks and ravens and crows. Right? So that makes us practically related."
Closed Elyan
“What’s his name?” Nora asked, she hadn’t read all that many history books, but she was curious nonetheless.
“Wait, what? Go where?”
Closed Elyan
“If we showed ourselves too much, humani would try to revolt against their rulers who should remain in the shadows.“ Elyan said. “But father is only biding his name, there will be an era where no humani is safe.” His eyes gleamed red.
“You guys? What do you mean?“
“You and whoever else is here. Sounds like you’ve been here for ages.” she noted, chewing on his other words for a moment before responding.
“Can’t say I blame you for staying hidden… but I’m not sure what you’re planning, exactly. Care to elaborate or is it a secret?”
“You ask questions to which I do not know the answer. I am but a child in my father’s eyes.“ Elyan said. “For all the world cares I am just a schoolboy.“
“He’d probably think the same of me, then.” She shrugged, “Most of our cluster is much older, but I only just became a Nova, so I’m still trying to figure this all out.”
Closed Elyan

@rooktheworld liked for a starter
“I don’t think you’re allowed in churches after hours…”
“And here I thought the ‘open hearts, open doors’ thing was literal.” Nora snorted, “Was just looking to get out of the cold for a bit. Promise I’ll be quiet as a mouse?”
Closed Elyan
“Those monster don’t sneak in, they knock the door. I know their faces well, daddy receives a lot of them here.“ Elyan replies with a fangy smirk.
Nora eyed the fang, putting it together finally in her head. “Huh. Well, sounds like a friendly place. Long as you’re not dinner, I imagine.” Hopefully I don’t fall into that category, she thought, pursing her lips.
“Those who make innocent victims will meet their demise.“ Elyan said. They were provided with What ever the medic worl was willing to donate, or willing to sell.
“Good to know,” She nodded, “Well, it sounds like the term ‘monster’ is a bit harsh, in that case. Sounds like you guys are all just existing.” Nora shrugged, “Nothing wrong with that.” She’d met a few different kinds of creatures that had what normal folks might consider ‘unsavory’ needs, but plenty of them seemed to find ways of getting by without hurting anyone. That was what really mattered.
“How long have you guys been here?”
Closed Elyan

Wandering - OPEN
“Alright, you caught me staring. Better than catching me snatching your wallet, right?” Nora smiled at the other woman, her eyes might have lingered a little longer than they should’ve.
“If you don’t swing that way, just tell me. How about I buy you dinner as an apology?”
“I don’t mind staring at all, makes me feel prettier.. If I wasn’t, no one would stare, right?” Charlotte chuckled as she reached for her clothes over the bed, she had been only on her underwear when the other stared. “So.. Where are we gonna have breakfast at? I saw this little dinner down the street.. Seems nice….” She murmured as she put on her tank top and the flannel shirt over it.
“I don’t think you’ll ever have to worry about people not staring,” Nora snorted, but she did look away, giving Charlotte a smidgeon of privacy, at the very least. “Oh yeah, the one with the pastries in the window?” She brightened at the thought, a burst of energy bringing her to her toes. “Hell yes.”
Closed Elyan
“Lycos?” She looked around, “What the hell is this place? And uh, what are you exactly, if that’s not rude? I had a feeling you weren’t human, but it’s hard to tell much past that, honestly.”
“Weren’t? I am only 17, I have always been what I am now. And what can I be but human.“ Elyan giggled behind his black polished nails and winked. His grey eyes were red, for just a brief moment.
“I can think of a lot of things,” She crossed her eyes, watching him more closely. She couldn’t quite put her finger on it, she was still fairly new to the world of the supernatural. “But why not tell me? You tell me yours and I’ll tell you mine. Even trade.”
“That is not how it work, not in the court of horros.“ Elyan laughed softly. “This is London, here the monsters rule. Learn the rules and obey them.“ The young vampire said.
"When in London..." she chuckled, nodding, "I suppose that's fair. How do you know I'm not one of the monsters you mentioned, huh?"

“You’re not getting away this time!”
“Your tools are impressive, but they can’t beat natural born power.”
“Don’t you ever grow weary of the same routine?”
“You’re a monster.”
“I must say, of all the people I put behind bars, you’ve got to be the worst.”
“I don’t want to play your sick mind games, I’m not one of your victims!”
“You can’t control me like you can your little puppets, can you?”
“Ugh, I feel bad for whoever has to sort all this mess out.”
“I’m just…tired. I’m tired of everyone’s lives lying on my shoulders.”
“Why can’t these people just learn to take care of themselves?”
“I enjoy my work, I’m a savior! I wouldn’t trade that for anything!”
|VILLAIN|
“What’s the matter, are you afraid of me? Good.”
“I have to say, you are giving me quite a bit of trouble.”
“You’re about to piss me off, brat.”
“Come on, you can get out of that, can’t you? At least try.”
“Go on, at least put on a show if you’re going to challenge me.”
“The last guy didn’t end up so well, if you’ve heard. I admire your bravery.”
“As much as I appreciate tenacity, I don’t appreciate annoying flies interrupting my plans.”
“Now that I’ve got you, what should I do first?”
“Relax, kiddo. Not everyone’s out here for mass murder or world domination. Maybe I just wanted to take this car for a joy ride.”
“Why do you always have to ruin my fun?”
“Why did I turn bad? Why do heroes ask such inane questions?”
“You don’t need to understand me, I don’t WANT you to understand me!”
“Not everyone can be pulled into the light, hero.”
New one for hero: “………………………” Because I’m Batman that’s why.

Nora sighed, just another example of how utterly useless her ridiculous bird was. “Okay… Well, let’s talk then. I’m up for negotiating. Don’t have much on me, but I’ve got skills, and useful ones. What do you say, how about we find a way to break even?”
Sleip hummed, squinting softly at the girl. Nothing harsh behind the gesture - just curious. “Useful?” He asked with a small frown. “Well what did you have in mind?” He asked her upfront.
“Depends on what you’re wanting.” She twisted up the corner of her lips, intrigued. At least he wasn’t angry. He seemed like a reasonable man. There were few of those around. “I could take your wallet and you wouldn’t know it until you tried to buy a drink later. I can find out information, I’m real good at blending in, staying quiet. I can take down any man in a hand-to-hand fight.” Provided he’s human, she added silently.
“Here, do me a favor and keep this.” She took a shard from her pocket, a shiny, multifaceted crystal that shone greens and blues and lavenders within. “It’s a long story, but you’ll need this if you want to remember me.” Assuming he was human, she hadn’t seen anything that would make her believe otherwise, yet. Sure, she could have just let him walk away and forget that it was her bird that stole his watch, but she really hadn’t meant for it to happen. Might as well make it right.
