why are buses inspiring?

It was a trying weekend for writing.  Friday night was especially difficult as I had to leave a party, find a room, and crank out my required words for the day.  Most of what I wrote was filler words.  I used the word "maybe" and "probably" at the start of nearly every sentence.  Clearly, this was inspired writing.  

Saturday I rode a bus for about an hour and inspiration flooded my small brain.  As soon as I sat down I had all these ideas.  Why do buses have this effect on me?  I'm worried I'll have to ride buses on the weekends for hours at a time to get stories finished.  This could get costly if I'm on the city bus, but I found a better way to go: the free casino bus.  Better seats and less people.  I wish inspiration would strike every time I sit down on the living room couch instead...
