Hi!

I’ve been playing with my fundie sims 4 family for a while and it’s gotten so large that I’ve started struggling to be motivated to play. Thought a simblr would give me ways to diversify my playing style and force me into being creative as I can sense myself falling into my usual pattern of boredom, and once that happens I usually abandon the save and move on to something more exciting. I’m playing the second generation right now, so the first few posts will be a quick intro into all the families (the Collins’ and their fundie friends), and then I’ll get into each family and can try and set up a blog type style of posting.

Life as a family of 3 - not for long...

Laurent and Zoe get into the swing of being parents to their wonderful son, Laurent going off to his job in politics (fighting for the right of sims to bear arms and for the lives of unborn sims that are mercilessly done away with) and Zoe being a homemaker and teaching their young son the basics. 

Life isn’t going to be so quiet for long though, as Zoe finds out she is with child when Allan is around 9 months old and the family begins preparing for another blessing to come into their lives.

Adalynn’s Senior Portraits!

Adalynn has come to the end of her time in school and her parents wanted to commemorate the event with pictures. This is a special time in her life as she leaves one part of her life and moves on to what the Lord has planned for her future, her Aunt Harley came over to take photos

Her parents joined her for the last photo as they celebrate her moving on to a new stage in life. She’s been a blessing for Casandra to homeschool and a large help around the house with her siblings, and they can’t wait to see what she does with her life!

Brendan Collins enters the world!

Once Zoe feels those telltale signs of labour kicking in, she calls her midwife (a mother of 8 from their church) who tells her to bear through the pain and gives her oils to take. After almost 24 hours in labour and no progress, they call the ambulance and Zoe is taken into the OR (good thing Laurent’s job in politics provides them with health insurance) Brendan is born 30 minutes later, to the joy of his parents!

First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes?...

Soon after they married, Laurent and Zoe were thrilled to find out they’d been blessed with a child, they treat this as the ultimate blessing from God (and celebrate this with a maternity photoshoot in Brindleton Bay) Many months later, their first child - a son they name Allan, is born.

Introducing: Gabriela Hunt!

Gabriela entered the world after an overall 7 hours of combined labour and delivery, she is the apple of her fathers eye and is doted on by everyone in the family!

Introducing: Rory and Ruby Rae Godwin!

Elaine had the twins and life got twice as busy very quickly meaning that it took a while for the twins to get their newborn pictures done (even if by that point they were a few weeks old 😂) 

Elaine managed to give birth to the twins naturally, Rory was born first, followed by Ruby Rae 3 minutes later.

Here’s Fletcher and his wife Cara!

Fletcher is the 6th child of Laurent and Zoe and has always been a stickler for the rules; so much so he signed up to the police academy and has worked his way up to Detective now! He met his wife Cara when he went to her university (Foxbury Institute) for careers day as part of community outreach. Cara was there with her Political Society, and they bonded over their interest in government. Cara is in her final year at Foxbury getting her degree in Communications and she hopes to get a job working to help the community once she’s done :) She was born into a Christian family from Oasis Springs and has 3 siblings. 

They both wanted to take things slow as they were both busy with life (Fletcher with his responsibilities in the force and Cara with her studies), but once Fletcher was promoted to Detective and Cara entered her final year, they both knew they were ready for marriage. Fletcher proposed after they’d been out for a nice dinner for their 3 year anniversary!

They married when Cara got Easter holidays at university, it was a splendid affair which was packed with friends and family. 

They now live in Newcrest in a house that they share with Fletchers siblings Grayson and Harley
