Personal lil update about tomorrow
Surgery is tomorrow! A couple peeps were curious, so... To clarify, its not one of the (many) surgeries I've had to remove my bone growths or anything. Its actually related to my gender dysphoria. This post is also a semi small rant, and more just a call out to the god awful medical side of the US. I was getting through the (many) hoops for full top surgery, but my medicaid retroactively stopped covering it last year, unless you fulfill certain requirements (i.e been on hormones for at least a year) So instead, I'm getting a reduction. And if you know me, My worst gender dysphoria is based on my chest. And the likely best they can do is down to a D cup.. (and Im still going to be her largest ever reduction.. it just proves how overly large my stupid chest is) So, while tomorrow is going to (hopefully) help some, I still feel a sense of.. mourning I guess, that Im still stuck with some of my chest. Stupid insurance.
