[Act 1 Log 4] Return of the Gamoer

Abijal reunites with the party in the circus because she regrets running away, and everyone accepts her back (except samuel but hey understandable). Dominic gives Abijal a dove, Abijal gives Dominic a drawing, they talk a bit, bond a little, and friendship is wholesome again. Also Abijal does the artist thing where she doesnt look at her awesome artist skills Ever even as Dominic compliments her. Abijal's also a DominicxJecht shipper now.

Meanwhile Samuel has a Vorpal and Deck of Many. This wolf is too powerful. The Gays That Barely Got Together By An Act Of God rode a ferris wheel and held hands. Scandalous.

Everyone goes to watch a circus, when a big robocop, Belvier, shows up, saying the gang is wanted. Everyone tries to sneak out, but Abijal and Dominic get caught. Dominic attempts to reason with robocop, but Abijal brain is only thinking about running away and keeping dominic safe so she distracts Belvier while she pulls dominic away, much to dominic's protests, samuel covering it up with smoke bombs. Despite everyone pretty much willing to destroy the robocop, Dominic is very confident that he would convince a robocop to not capture any of them. Eventually they all agree to try it out, and so Dominic convinces the shit out of Belvier and gets "I told you so" rights.

Everyone is in agreement that they should leave before more trouble comes to find them. Unfortunately for them, trouble found them right outside the circus, comprising of the baron, cult members and Abijal's mom, who's apparently in the Medici clan. Abijal, upon recognising her, tries very hard to pretend not to know her. This fails badly because Abijal's pendant shows and her mother recognises her too. Unfortunately, her mother and Samuel are rival mafias, meaning they have to battle to the death. Abijal gets indecisive because she's a coward and has Very Complex Feelings Towards Her Mother Who Actually Genuinely Cares About Her?? Surreal concept.

Dominic tries to stop Samuel from shooting her mother, but to no avail, and eventually her mother is dead. Abijal, despite all attempts to not care the slightest bit about a mother she never had the chance to know, griefs. Dominic gets mad at Samuel and says the fuck word, before trying to comfort an Abijal that's trying to pick her pieces back together. Meanwhile Samuel has a lapse in memory, apparently some strange thing is happening with his eyes flashing red and blue.

Upon seeing what the cultist were doing with the soul and also to revive Abijal's mother, the party yeet backs into battle. Abijal steals the crystal, Dominic nabs the body, and they a fucking run back. Samuel enquires about why the fuck the party wanted the body of a Medici out and Abijal tells him that that might be her biological mother.

Things get a little tensed up between Samuel and Abijal and the rest try to mediate the very complicated situation of her mother being a medici vs Samuel being a nazarenus vs Abijal being an untrustworthy shithead. Abijal tries to explain that she's not tricking samuel to betray him later and some shit, and at one point she actually apologises? Wow, look how far we've come.

Of course, Samuel had every right to be suspicious of her so he decided there was only 1 way to give abijal the benefit of the doubt -- by further feeding into the found family tro-I MEAN making Abijal join the Nazarenus clan. Abijal accepts easily, and with the help of Samuel her mother no longer legally exists now, and they're friends now? Sorta? Maybe?

As they make their way to Seth's house on a limoboat, Abijal and Eridan find solace in each other being OMGirls Stans, and are pleasantly surprised to find Samuel's the younger brother of the singer, Maria. Meanwhile, Dominic sips Tired And Suffering Juice, and small talks with Seth. Beethany attempts to play music, and I guess it wasn't bad but it wasn't good either. Also meanwhile, Samuel asks Abijal about her Edgy Backstory, so she reveals about a friend she used to have in a this-is-actually-really-personal-for-me-but-like-hell-am-I-gonna-not-sound-casual-about-it way.

Apparently she made "friends" with this elf girl (obviously her ex) who was relative of royal family. At one point the friend did an oopsie by the tutor resulting in Pretty Serious Injuries, but because Abijal was also there Nikoal threw her under the bus and her parents took it up cos they never liked her anyway and she was basically told to Fuck Off and Stay Quiet. Obviously Abijal didn't, but no one believed her anyway so it didnt make much of a difference. Samuel commented to tell him immediately if anyone tries to pull something similar with her again

They then discuss ****Super Secretive Stuff**** with Samuel. Oh yeah, also Seth panicks about the whole situation and consults his moirail for support.

How would Abijal and her Mother interact with each other? Will Dominic get some rest? How is the Seth and Alli bestie dynamic so wholesome? When will Dominic snap and gets his turn on the angst arc? [Act 1 Log 3] Tension thickens, and some things go to shit.

So the gang sneaked out of Alli's house to steal a boat or some shit, with Abijal driving in a way no one should probably drive, ever. Looking for clues about the Abyssal Carnage, the team went to, uh, idk some really shady area. Sorry, dk what's it called lol. They started by going to a bar, where Samuel managed to snag some info with an npc in thieves' cant. Meanwhile, Abijal and Beethany went to talk to Dominic about Samuel being in a mafia gang, and Dominic took it pretty well, and wanted to settle the situation peacefully.

After that, they went shopping, and apparently Dominic met Jecht but didn't realise it was his childhood friends. At one point they fought some really shady people in a warehouse, as well as Abyssal Carnage. At one point Samuel implied to be part of the Nazarenus and tried to leave, thinking no one would want him around. But Abijal stopped him, convincing him that they still want him around despite it all. And so he did, forming a contract with Dominic and Abijal so that he could legally explain the clan stuff. Abijal and Samuel chatted and bonded, maybe even some romance gossip and teasing. All is well...

All is not well, because Ass-bijal ratted Samuel out to Eridan as a mafia, as well as trivialise the mafia in a moment of tactlessness. #toptenanimebetrayals Oh yeah, and Abyssal Carnage mocked Samuel too. The two combined angered Samuel so much that Samuel ended up having Character Development and earned tarot cards which is Fantastic. Samuel went to burn the warehouse out of anger of betrayal (as one would), while Abijal noped herself out of there because she has fire-related trauma. The party has fallen apart, and without the enemies turning them against each other too.

The no-longer tight-knit gang went elsewhere, where they met Sarakba, who's a spy for a cult if my memory serves right (if it does not please correct me), and sorta invite him to the group so he's in the party now too, with Abijal suspicious of him (wow what a s h o c k e r . ) At one point Dominic and Samuel had a heart-to-heart talk and tarot reading, upon which Dominic's Gay Heart finally realised Jecht was his childhood friend. It was a wholesome time, Friendship is Beautiful, yall.

After freeing some animals in a shady pet store and stealing a dragon egg -- very successfully might I add -- they were ambushed by a cult that was trying to bring beethany back to them. The gang was like "fuck no" and ran away. They ended up trying to nurture 1 dragon egg and find a hotel to stay at. Abijal asks Dominic for friendship advice, and Samuel tries to contact his mafia family.

At one point, Abijal tried (really badly) to subtly flirt with Alli. It was pretty terrible and the only upside being finding out that all of them were wanted. Meanwhale Beethany had 1 shared dream with Alli (who has 2 hands) due to soul whale shenanigans and already kissed them (albeit a dream that none of them will clearly remember because of Important Whale Stuff), proving herself to be the Chad to Abijal's virginity.

Back to the part about the hotel, when they arrived, no one had any brain cells to do the money stuff of paying rooms, so abijal immediately gained brain cells to do the math herself. While everyone was sleeping Abijal went to sketch Pepsi the dog, and basically played with the pets while waiting for everyone to wake.

Everyone woke up to a horn, because it's pride!!!! Anyway they all went to pride for a bit, with samuel dancing on a float cos why not. Also, Abijal asks Dominic if she might die, and Dominic replied with a maybe. So Abijal became chicken and disappeared halfway through battling Eridan's guards at Hot Topic. Yeah, Eridan's guards. Apparently Cronus really wants Eridan back? But like Beethany the party be like "fuck no" and so they attack their family problems away.

Abijal fucked off to God Knows Where, in a fun move to avoid ever confronting Samuel ever again. Meanwhile the rest of the party finished the battle, and they went to Seth's house. It is discovered at some point that Beethany was on the media staged by the terrorists, because she killed people with shatter. It was also revealed that Beethany used to be a fairy called Aliza in earlier-mentioned cult whose soul got taken out and placed in the body of a Bee. At one point Jecht and Dominic got into contact with each other as well. Fun gay stuff once again.

Unnerved, the party heads back to the hotel, and finds letters telling them to fuck off. So they did and met with Alli instead. They find out Abyssal Carnage works with Alli. Also there's a whale that runs the entirety of Dephasascreck and we need to save the whale because it's an eldritch whale whose soul is contained and this is related to soul crystals. Oh yeah, and Alli's mum is a jerk, and will send in people from the party's pasts, and this will not involve a heart-breaking plot twist later in the future. Y'know. Your average tuesday.

Alli tells everyone to break shit or get thrown in jail for some reason. So obviously they decided to break shit. To do so they went to a carnival that had magic items to win and to say fuck the police.

In other news, Abijal enters the carnival, and approaches the party….
